Capacity 3000 VA / 1800 W
Topology Line-Interactive (with AVR)
Input Voltage Range ~ 140 V – 300 V AC
Output Voltage 230 V AC ± around 10%
Output Frequency 50/60 Hz auto-sensing
Output Waveform Simulated (sometimes called “modified”) sine wave
Transfer Time Usually 2–6 ms under typical conditions
Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) Yes (Boost & Buck) to correct under- and over-voltages without having to draw battery power immediately
Battery Type & Configuration Sealed lead-acid (maintenance free). Typically 4 × 9 Ah batteries in this model.
Recharge Time About 6-8 hours to restore to approximately 90% charge after full discharge.
Outlets 4 universal AC outlets (various plug types)
Display & Monitoring LCD panel showing battery level, load, input/output voltage etc.; includes monitoring/control software
Cold-Start Function Yes — the UPS supports starting from battery when mains is out.
Protection Features Overload protection, short circuit protection, surge protection, and usually features to prevent over-discharge of battery.
Warranty 2 years for the UPS unit; battery often has 1 year warranty.
Operating Environment Usually listed 0-40 °C; humidity non-condensing up to ~90% in many cases.

Performance & Typical Use

  • For a “standard PC + monitor + networking gear” load (not full 1800W), backup time is often 10-18 minutes depending on exactly how much power is drawn.

  • At near-maximum load (close to 1800W), expect much shorter backup time — possibly just a few minutes.

  • Recharge time after a full discharge is long; the 6-8 hour figure is typical.

Pros

  • Large capacity (3000 VA / 1800 W) offers good headroom for multiple devices: servers, workstations, routers, etc.

  • AVR helps protect against voltage fluctuations (brownouts/spikes) — reducing battery wear by avoiding unnecessary battery use.

  • Universal outlets mean more flexibility with different plug types.

  • LCD + monitoring software allows you to observe load, battery status, etc.

  • Cold-start means it can operate even when mains are off (if the battery is charged).

  • Fair warranty period (2 yrs for UPS unit) gives some peace of mind.

Limitations / Things to Check

  • Output is simulated sine wave rather than pure sine wave, which may not suit very sensitive equipment (audio, precise measurement instruments, high-end PSUs with strict input wave requirements, etc.).

  • Battery backup time declines rapidly with heavier loads. If you regularly use close to 1800 W, the runtime might be very short.

  • Battery Ah rating (9 Ah × 4) is fairly standard, but if you want longer backup, you’d need larger battery capacity or external battery banks.

  • Weight and size: large, heavy unit likely requiring sturdier placement. Also heat generation under load needs good ventilation.

  • Noise under load could be significant (fans etc.).

  • Battery warranty is shorter; battery replacement cost/time should be considered.
